Bosch has created a company to develop the Internet of Things and Services





German Bosch, better known as a manufacturer of household appliances, gazed his attention to the Internet of Things , the concept involves “communication” automated devices with each other. The company established a firm Bosch Connected Devices and Solutions, which will supply compact electronics and providing services in software development for a wide range of connected smart devices.

Initially, the new venture will focus on sensor systems for “smart” buildings, transport and logistics. According to chairman of the company Robert Bosch Volkmar Denner, 2015 over 6 billion things will be connected to the Internet .

Using a combination of sensors and software, a “smart” home can, for example, to detect open windows and tie this piece of information with the weather forecast, taken from the Internet. To protect the house from the approaching hurricane system will automatically close the windows and pull down shutters. “Smart” valves automatic watering systems can also be switched on and off depending on soil moisture.
