Brabants hospital could by computer malfunction hours do not have emergency surgery




Amphia Hospital in Breda Friday had to deal with a major computer failure. This allowed electronic patient records can not be seen, and had to be taken over by emergency operations surrounding hospitals.

Ultimately, the fault is not caused major problems, according to the hospital, but so patients had to be referred to neighboring hospitals in case of emergency.

It is not the first time that a fault is in the computer systems of the Brabant hospital. A few months ago faced the network with similar problems. Whether there is a connection is still under investigation.
