Find a Question:
British ISPs must block Demonoid and Isohunt
Brits can not easily go to Demonoid or Isohunt from this week. The British High Court this week added a list of sites to the already existing list of sites to block providers.
With the decision, the High Court the sites added to the existing list which include all the Pirate Bay and Kickass Torrents arose, claiming TorrentFreak. The decision itself seems not findable online. Expanding the list would be easy, because the providers no opposition in the courtroom offer more to the expansion of that list. The Motion Picture Association, representing holders of movies, the list has submitted a complaint to the High Court.
The blockade of piracy sites in the UK is nothing new: the blockade of The Pirate Bay is true since 2012. Users can visit the site still example via proxies, but organizations such as the MPA hope that measures people still deters the sites visits. Whether that happens is still questionable. In the Netherlands, took the number of downloads through torrents just increased after the blockade of The Pirate Bay.Viewing:-94
