Find a Question:
Bug will open links in Safari on iOS 9 impossible
A bug in iOS 9 ensures that users can not open links more with Safari. It is at this moment not entirely clear where the problem is caused by. Apple customer service said the company is working on an update. Which should be ready within days.
Although not certain what the cause of the problem, it seems clear that users do not get rid of when they get there once to experience. The editors of 9to5Mac shows for example that in a device of them the problem started after installing the Booking.com app. However, an uninstallation and restart the device solved the problem persists. A user on the Apple forum reported that even a factory reset not remedied the problem. So it is advisable for users who have the bug does not occur temporarily to install new apps. The Booking.com app is not the only application where the problem begins to occur.
Several users report that iOS log files indicate that the Shared Web Credentials Daemon constantly crashes when you open Safari links on devices with the problem. Shared Web Credentials is part of iOS which ensures that users do not need to log in twice a department when they go to the site of its iOS app, for example. Possible so the bug occurs when a user has installed applications which make use of it.Viewing:-96
