Build tweakers in 48 hours arcade cabinet with Tweak Battle




A group tweakers Monday and Tuesday an arcade cabinet put together by Tweakers headquarters in Amsterdam. The cabinet is themed Tweak Battle, the platform shooter who released Tweakers on April 1, 2014.

At the end of November, there is a call on Gathering of Tweakers positioned to assist in the making of an arcade cabinet. The aim was to build a case for the new living room of Tweakers, with headquarters in Amsterdam. The arcade had Tweak Battle rotate, the game released Tweakers April 1, 2014 and where players can compete against each other as Tweaker employee with Nerf guns.

Of the group of people who had registered, entered a small selection to work with it for work. So went Journal Slayer started with making the milling templates and buttons for the sticks were engraved. Darth Sjaak took care of the planning and design. Monday went Journal Slayer, Oscar the Grouch , Darth Sjaak, Strain and hidjedewitje at headquarters started to put the pieces together.

Among others, the buttons of the controller were placed, a pc’tje with an SSD was screwed together and LCD monitor from Dell in the closet was hung. Choosing an LCD incidentally led to heated discussions with CRT supporters. Tuesday morning were repaired, the necessary PC problems and after application of the artwork and the plexiglass Tuesday could still run the closet for 18:00.

The finishing touch was the LED lights on the bottom. After rolling up and placing the cabinet in the living room, the Tweakers HQ was a showpiece richer.
