By fan made sequel to Half-Life is coming to Steam

Prospekt, followed by a fan on Valve Half-Life series, coming in February on Steam. The only developer, Richard Seabrook, has received official approval from Valve for the use of the Half-Life 2 license and resources.

Prospekt is a sequel to the story of Half-Life: Opposing Force and utilizes the assets of Half-Life 2. Steam to get the game has only been through the greenlight process and has gotten the approval of Valve . In the game, the player takes the role of Adrian Shephard, as was the case in the Opposing Force DLC for the original Half-Life.

The game takes place after the events of Opposing Force, where Shephard is a Marine who is sent to Black Mesa to stop the aliens and force all witnesses into silence. Prospekt Gordon Freeman slowly losing the battle in the Nova Prospekt prison. Shephard is sent for it to help Freeman. The game consists of thirteen new levels, which are fully equipped with puzzles and action.

The game is a stand-alone TLC and is doing so even without the original game installed. Prospekt until February 11 for advance purchase for 8.99 euros to 9.99 euros then. Presumably the game so on February 11, considering the ten percent discount applies as pre-order bonus.
