Find a Question:
CALIFORNIA AUTHORITIES HAVE MADE VACCINATION OF SCHOOLCHILDREN MANDATORY
To date, the vaccine against polio, tetanus, diphtheria, whooping cough and measles save over three million children’s lives a year. This is the official statistics of the World Health Organization. And with the help of new vaccinesthat are currently undergoing the final stage of clinical trials, it will be possible to prevent the loss of 8 million more children every year. But, despite the proven effectiveness of this technique, there are many people who prohibit their children any vaccines.
Such people are referred to the public movement “vaccine controversies.” Members of this organization have challenged the efficacy, safety and legality of mass vaccination of children and adults. And they could not convince this nobody, including experts from the World Health Organization, which has long confirmed the benefit of vaccination of scientific data.
Parents living in the State of California (United States), support the vaccine controversies, find themselves in difficult situations. Now they have only one choice: either allow to put necessary vaccinations for their children, or translate them into home schooling. California Governor Jerry Brown signed a Bill SB277, which excludes personal and religious beliefs as an excuse to avoid school vaccination. Parents now will not be able to use familiar excuses for them, who previously helped them to refuse to vaccinate their children.
The Bill was designed to protect unvaccinated children enrolled in educational institutions in California, from their peers, who vaccinated may be vectors of dangerous infectious diseases. For grafted child disease completely without pasna, but non-vaccinated kid health risks greatly, being close to the source of infection. SB277 Act was introduced after more than 100 children have been infected with measles after a visit to Disneyland. Many experts agreed that the reason children lack the corresponding blood vaccine.
Many parents refuse to inculcate their children due to beliefs that vaccines can cause autism and other dangerous complications that were never never substantiated by science. The new law allows the exclusion of vaccination for children with certain diseases or with compromised immune systems. It is worth noting that the refusal of vaccination without medical contraindications is irresponsible not only towards her own child, as this leads to an increased risk of deadly diseases like tetanus, but also violates the Group immunity, risking all of society. Therefore, the decision of the authorities of California looks reasonable, and I would like to believe that other States and even entire countries over time will also come to this.Viewing:-163
