Camera from Chinese manufacturer Yongnuo gets 4/3 “sensor and runs on Android

The camera that the Chinese manufacturer Yongnuo is working on, gets a sixteen-fifth-mile sensor of the 4/3 “format, can handle Canon EF lenses and runs on Android 7.1 The device runs on an octacoreprocessor from Qualcomm.

Yongnuo gives details of the camera on its Facebook page, which is referred to as the YN450. The device has a 5 “touchscreen with a 1080p resolution and a front camera with an eightmega pixel resolution, which Qualcomm-soc Yongnuo will use, is not yet known. The chip is combined with 3GB ram and 32GB flash storage. Furthermore, the device has built-in GPS, a 3.5mm jack and a 4000mAh battery. The image sensor comes from Panasonic.

The camera can take photos in raw format and shoot videos in 4k resolution with a maximum of 30fps. Yongnuo says the device is suitable for Canon EF lenses; the manufacturer also makes lenses with that mount himself. The choice for the EF-mount, which is designed for cameras with a mirror, is striking. The YN450 is a mirrorless camera, where lenses can be placed closer to the sensor. If Yongnuo places a Canon EF mount on the camera, it will protrude a few centimeters at the front of the camera.

Last week, Yongnuo revealed that it is working on a camera of its own. The manufacturer has been known for a number of years of its cheaper alternatives for the 50 mm f / 1.8 lenses from Canon and Nikon. Then came the Chinese lens manufacturer with more objectives, which looks much like the official variants of the Japanese camera manufacturers.
