Camera Samsung NX300M was first serial device on Tizen

The new “mirrorless” camera NX300M from Samsung went on sale in South Korea. Its main feature is that it is based on the operating system Tizen. Previously, some cameras Samsung from the same series have the platform Android.

The camera mounted 20.3-megapixel sensor format APS-C, able to read 9 frames per second, and its sensitivity range is from one hundred to 25,600 units on a scale of ISO. There is also a 3.31-inch AMOLED-touch screen that pivots 180 degrees. On top of that camera is equipped with Wi-Fi support and NFC.

The Samsung claim that NX300M loaded twice as fast compared to other cameras that are based on Linux. In fact, the new camera – this is an update “bezzerkalki» NX300.

Tizen, built on the basis of the kernel Linux, is a joint project of Intel and Samsung to open source. First it was announced in September 2011. Tizen was formed by merging MeeGo (a platform that Nokia has developed with Intel to switch to Windows Phone) and LiMo. Later, Samsung has decided to merge with Tizen his other OS – bada.
