Capcom will release Mega Man and Monster Hunter games for smartphones

Capcom has created a new industry which will focus on the mobile market. The publisher wants to enter this market by releasing new games from renowned private titles like Mega Man and Monster Hunter.

Capcom Mobile Capcom’s mobile business division is for April 2017 release four games. In addition to the Mega Man and Monster Hunter games is also planned Sengoku Basara game. Sengoku Basara is a famous hack-and-slash game series of which some parts are also brought to the West in Japan. Whether or not the fourth game will also make use of a Capcoms of well-known names is not known.

The new division has to release the game worldwide. Capcom also in Asia wants its existing licenses will make better and get more licenses to increase revenue from the region. The publisher expects mobile games continues to be a growing market, and wants to be part of the expected revenue growth in the sector.

Earlier this month announced Sony a similar turn. The new company will Forward Works Sony games go cast for “smart devices” such as smartphones. It would then go to games based on existing PlayStation titles. Sony announced that the game would come out of Asia, across releases made nothing known worldwide. Last year announced also Nintendo said to focus on the mobile market. The first application of the company, MiiTomo , was released earlier this week in the UK.
