Casio unveils Android Wear watch with both color and monochrome screen

Casio has announced at CES a watch with Android Wear. The smart watch has a regular LCD and a monochrome screen that users can enable to preserve the battery. The smart watch also has a pressure sensor and can be up to fifty meters under water.

The Smart Watch Outdoor WSD-F10 has a function for both the color and disable all ‘connected’ functions and sensors, making it as simple digital watch should last a month on a battery charge, says the manufacturer. It meets a standard for the US military in terms of firmness, the MIL-STD-810.

In addition to a compass and gyroscope the watch has a pressure sensor on board, in order to measure atmospheric pressure for example. The smart watch is also equipped with wifi. The watch has a 1.32 “screen with a resolution of 320×300 pixels and the smart watch, like the Motorola Moto 360 a recess at the bottom of the screen, so it is not completely round.

The WSD-F10 due in April in the United States and should cost around $ 500. Whether and when the smart watch plays in the Benelux, is still unknown.
