CentOS begin publishing rolling releases’
CentOS developers behind the project have started releasing so-called rolling releases “of the Linux distribution. This means that at least monthly a recent issue appears to have the latest updates.
CentOS logo The edition contains all security updates, bug fixes, improvements and general updates for the operating system to date. This means that users who want to install the operating system, without first having to install numerous packets before CentOS is up-to-date.
Preliminary support the developers only the last major release of the operating system, version 7.0. In the foreseeable future would follow the iso files with the live versions, and also version 6.0 is subjected to the rolling releases. The developers behind the CentOS project gave in July version 7.0 of the Linux distribution release. There was a development of nearly three years in advance.
