CEO departs at Rockstar North studio
The CEO of Rockstar North, Leslie Benzies, has left the studio. Rockstar North is a studio of Rockstar and is responsible for the majority of include the Grand Theft Auto series. Benzies was already seventeen years with the company.
Rockstar made this know to the game news site Kotaku when asked questions about the leave Benzies had recorded. According to the studio Benzies recorded in September 2014 leave and he has now decided not to return to the company. Benzies came in 1999 with the company and has worked since then to popular games such as Red Dead Redemption and Grand Theft Auto games after 2002. For most of the GTA games, he was the lead developer.
Leslie Benzies came to the studio when it was called DMA Design. There he began developing the Nintendo 64 game Space Station Silicon Valley. The studio was then taken over by Rockstar Games, which again Take-Two Interactive is part, and then went mainly on with the development of the Grand Theft Auto games.
After the release of Grand Theft Auto V Rockstar had already announced that Benzies leave went to pick up, but after seventeen months of leave so that he does not return to the company.
