CES 2014: LG makes TV sets with webOS officially

Apparently, a little earlier than planned, the technology giant LG has released some information on the Korean side. Even the LG press conference at the Consumer Electronics Show (are CES ) in Las Vegas did not run, but you know what can be expected. The Korean manufacturer has already made his new webOS strategy officially.

According to LG, it is possible with webOS, easy to use Smart TV, but also the application development should not be difficult. The Acquired by Hewlett Packard system was again re-imagined, so you can use it on smart TV sets with an intuitive interface. LG wants the new system webOS in 70 percent of all Smart TVs Series 2014 bring. Both device and use are particularly easy to proceed. To this end, LG has come up with an animated assistant named Bean Bird, who then performs the setup. Animated TV setup wizard – Koreans never disappoint.


One of the key features is to be the new launcher that can scroll from left to right and right to select between the different input sources such as cable TV or things allowed as an external hard drive. The Live menu can also be displayed if one looks on a TV program, here you get suggestions, but also a search function is available. Apps will come from the LG store, here is one to find a number of categories, not just movies can be found here, including 3D content and games.

Let’s see what information LG still makes exactly which app selection you start – maybe you also publishes the appropriate video to it. Especially with new surfaces it comes down to how about the whole thing is available and what is app selection. Smart TV has to offer real added value a try.
