CES 2014: Mercedes-Benz with access to Pebble, nest and Google+

Car maker Mercedes-Benz is at the Consumer Electronics Show ( CES present) in Las Vegas a few novelties. Already a few days ago, the company had announced its collaboration with the SmartWatch manufacturer Pebble, also were already sampled API access to the latest hardware developments of Nest Labs. Nest Labs are the way who make the smart thermostats and smoke detectors. Mercedes-Benz gets access to the interfaces of the nest and Pebble and so can offer to its use in the vehicle-optimized solutions.

At CES shows you this first concepts that are based on the Digital Drive Style App. Here, the control of the temperature in the house directly out of the car is possible in terms of Pebble retrieving relevant vehicle information directly above the SmartWatch is possible. Both the nest, as well as the Pebble integration is to be found in the next few months their way into the vehicles. The already established partnership CES 2012 is now bearing fruit, Mercedes-Benz gets access to the Google+ interface and thus the integration of the social network into the Digital Drive Style app is possible. Mercedes-Benz will bring the first automobile manufacturer Google+ in the vehicles so by his own admission, in the spring of 2014 it could be ready. The question remains to what extent the customer consider these mentioned features to be useful.
