CES 2014: OKIDOKEYS launches product line with Smart Locks and Keys

OKIDOKEYS, which are by no means the front door key of Ned Flanders, but smart key and the associated Smart Locks, which is now at the Consumer Electronics Show ( CES ) in Las Vegas will be shown. OKIDOKEYS enables its users, based on a complete range of smart devices access to all residential buildings or households at any time and in anywhere easily. Users can every door – including garage doors and electronic doors – open or close by for use smartphones, cell phones or smart tags with OKIDOKEYS and yet still have the option to use the normal traditional key.


The OpenWays Group, the parent company of OKIDOKEYS, is a provider of mobile-key solutions that are used by major U.S. and international hotel chains. OKIDOKEYS uses this technology and uses a 256-bit AES encryption to secure their system.

OKIDOKEYS Smart Locks are based on a multi-technology platform, including Bluetooth 4.0 (BLE), Near Field Communication (NFC), Radio Frequency Identification (RFID), Crypto Acoustic Credential (CAC) and is characterized by the OKIDOKEYS Virtual Network (OVN) is independent of Wi-Fi networks.

The OKIDOKEYS Smart-Lock can be 1 and 2 installed on the inside of each door using the existing bolts and locks of ANSI class, as they were told at a press conference at CES. It can be easily installed within minutes without drilling or wiring expertise required.
