Sony AX100

Sony introduced during the CES-2014 4K-new compact camcorder. A distinctive feature of FDR-AX100 is not only the ability to shoot video in 4K with the frame rate to 30p (Ultra HD), but also the price. The novelty value is only $ 2,000 – a relatively low price for 4K-quality video .

Sony FDR-AX100 uses a 14.2-megapixel 1.0-inch Exmor R CMOS sensor with direct reading pixels and processor BIONZ X, allowing you to shoot video at 4K-24p and 30p due to coding technologies XAVC S, writes Engadget. The camcorder is equipped with lenses Zeiss Vario-Sonnar T 12x optical zoom and 7-blade diaphragm, which ensures a pleasant bokeh. FDR-AX100 is very different from the previous 4K-camcorder Sony. New turned on 2500 dollars cheaper by 74 percent smaller and 66 percent lighter model FDR-AX1. This makes it ideal FDR-AX100 4K-camera for home video.


4K Camcorder Sony FDR-AX100 will be available in March of this year.
