China is preparing to release an “invisible” jet-powered UAV

While in Google puzzling over unmanned vehicles in China military threw all their forces to develop the stealth drone. Currently, the network has a few photos of mediocre quality, which indicate the occurrence of the first unmanned aircraft with a jet engine come from China in the near future. The pictures were published in the pages of the English forum

In the same mysterious way before the network got photos of two prototype Chinese stealth fighter in 2010 and 2012 and the aircraft for transportation of goods. It is worth noting that the first photograph of Chinese stealth drone appeared in March of this year.

According to reliable sources, shown in the photo above UAV Unmanned Combat Air Vehicle (UCAV) called Lijian or Sharp Sword – the fruit of cooperation between companies and Shenyang Hongdu. UAV is powered by a single jet engine and executed in the form of a “flying wing”.

This scheme uses the same low-profile American heavy bomber Northrop B-2 “Spirit”. In the Pentagon’s latest annual report can be found mention of a new, more sophisticated drones UCAV, which will help the Chinese authorities to move the exploration, observation and application of assault against a completely different level.

It is also worth noting that China joined the military last race to build unmanned aircraft with a jet engine on a “flying wing”. Leadership in this segment belongs to the United States, which in the arsenal since the early 1990s, there are at least five drones UCAV, including the model RQ-170 Sentinel. European military, in turn, develop drones Neuron and Taranis, and Russia are working on creating its own unmanned aerial vehicle based on the MiG “Scat”.

Most agree that a drone easy. Most problems occur when you create software, control systems and the calculation of payload. With these key subsystems of the Middle Kingdom, the engineers are not as smooth as in the U.S. or Europe.

In Beijing believe that the technologies that are closely related to the guidance and control systems, it is easier to buy or steal from the United States. American experts are worried that China could gain access to some U.S. technology using UAV RQ-170 Sentinel, which crashed in Iran in 2011.

Currently, “Keen Sword” was seen only on the runway until such time as it has successfully completed its first test in the sky and will massively used military will take a long time.
