“Chinese Apple» plans to expand into the Russian market

However, even with five countries – Russia, Thailand, Mexico, Brazil and Turkey – decided to wait until 2015. This is necessary for more efficient business development.
“We are developing new markets one after the other, one market at a time – said Barr. – Previously, we announced plans to begin selling 10 new states until the end of the year. But we realized that if we are to keep our approach, we do not have time to learn all the territory. Therefore, we have reduced our plan. ”
Xiaomi does not have its own production and orders smartphones from Foxconn, which also produces the iPhone and iPad. Currently Xiaomi and Foxconn are discussing the possibility of launching the production of smartphones in India and Brazil. Xiaomi is also interested in the organization of production in Indonesia.

Xiaomi now second only to Samsung and Apple, whose shares are, respectively, 23.8 and 12.0%.
