Find a Question:
Client of Star Citizen is 100GB file of heavy
The client of the full gecrowdfunde space sim Star Citizen is around 100 GB take after installation on the hard drive. That says developer Roberts Space Industries on its official forum.
In addition to the total size of the game writes developer Jeremy Mask on the forum that it is impossible to reduce the size of the client to bring back even further to, for example, 30 to 40GB, by applying additional compression or removal of game components. These possibilities were suggested by a poster on the Star Citizen Forum.
Mask puts on the forum that each patch hundreds of new game elements will contain, some up to 200MB per piece may be, leading to patches of 2 to 6GB. If parts of the source code must be restructured, it will be 30 to 40 percent of the content to be downloaded again. Patches in the amount of 14 to 20GB will then also come to belong to the possibilities.Viewing:-124
