Computer Museum Zwolle expands collection with 200 items




The Bonami SpelComputer Museum in Zwolle reports that it has expanded its collection by more than two hundred pieces, especially from the period from the thirties to the eighties. These include old Philips computers.

The renewed collection now houses, among other things, punching machines and punch card readers, with accompanying tapes. In addition, mice, joysticks and game guns have been added and the games department has been expanded with a section for Dutch developers.

Specifically, some classic Philips products have been set up, such as the Mini-Cassette, the Daisy System 2500 and the Philips ADM-3A video display terminal. Bonami also mentions the presence of the Vidac 1224, an analogue computer with microprocessor from 1968. According to the museum , this is the largest expansion in one go so far.
