Andrzej has the new version of the Acer Iconia B1 – The B1-710 – will be shown at Computex, and tells us in his short test, what he thinks of this affordable 7-inch model.

Acer has reworked here in terms of design. This not only looks appealing, apparently the processing is better than its predecessor. This one has the power under the hood of adding a little: The RAM has been doubled to 1 GB and now it tinkers a 1.2 GHz dual core processor from MediaTek happily to himself, which should provide better performance.

Unfortunately, it has left in its improvements, the external display before. As before, the 7-inch display has a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels and still you have not installed IPS panel, which is expressed to the effect that the viewing angles are pretty poor. Also, if the device is to have fairly little money, maybe you should prefer the competition to keep in mind. I am thinking particularly of the ASUS MeMO Pad HD 7 , which is clearly the better device to an almost identical price. Nonetheless, but I do not want the short test of Andrzej withheld, the Iconia B1 has fallen into its new edition at Computex in hands:
