Computex: Oculon shows prototype of Google’s competitors Glass

Oculon exhibiting at Computex its version of a smart glass, you want to do with the Google Glass neat fire under. A better display is to have the glasses – and also be cheaper.

A finished model could not show us the company from Taiwan at Computex – but at least you had the prototypes already at the start. It looks not so elegant as the Google counterpart, but will have much more to offer. Sales Manager Eddie Chang, who introduced the device on Nicole Oculon, has said that it wants to officially present the finished glasses in July and that it hopes to be able to offer $ 500 for roundabout.

The finished model will house a 2100 mAh battery. That was not to be seen in the prototype so now, but I imagine it quite cumbersome to carry around a battery pack to the bar with me and I also honestly a little respect for the fact that any such battery times around the – in the truest sense the word – could fly ears.

You can also these glasses with your smartphone connected, Internet-enabled glasses will also be alone. There is also audio like Google Glass over conduction speakers and a 5 megapixel cam. The prototype offers a display with a resolution of 640 x 480 pixels, up to the release date, but even 720p resolution should be at the start. Currently I am doing myself a bit hard trying to make me an opinion about devices that I can appreciate as little as a smart glasses. Points such as wearing comfort eventually play a very different role than that of a tablet or a smartphone. Nicole seems to like the gadget but we promise you that we will be testing the final product thoroughly as soon as we can get a good piece 🙂 Here Oculon but first our hands-on from Computex:
