Computex: Toshiba KiraBook 13 2560 x 1440 pixels in Ultrabook hands-on

Just two months ago, Toshiba has introduced this fine Ultrabook – unfortunately a little too early in terms of the Haswell processors. Thus is “only” an Ivy Bridge Core i5 or Core i7 in KiraBook. Showpiece of the device is most likely the large 13.3-inch Pure pixel display, which as mentioned above with 2560 x 1440 – so much better than Full HD – dissolves.

The Kirabook weighs around 1:18 kg and is 18mm thick, it looks very elegant and also provides us with a very nice, backlit keyboard. Up to 8 GB of RAM you bring in the equipment under and 256GB SSD are also on board. There are variants of the KiraBook with and without touchscreen, the models with Core i7 CPU instead of the normal Windows 8 has even installed Windows 8 Pro.

The Ultrabook from which we have you here , and here have reported wants the MacBook from Apple to compete with so attractive specs and of course that is not cheap. At least 1599 euros you have to shell out for the plane, for the price you get the Core i5 version without touch screen. What else you need to know about the device, you betray Roland in our hands-on clip from Computex:
