Corsair introduces two SFX power supplies for small systems

Corsair announces its first two Small Form Factor Power Supplies, to. SFX SFX SF600 and SF450 are both modular, a 92mm fan still when there is little heat and have a 80 Plus Gold certification.

According to Corsair, the power is the only SFX PSU that use a 92mm fan. This should result in low noise and good cooling. The fan uses Corsairs’ Zero RPM Fan Mode, in which the fan off when there is little energy and the speed of rotation depends on the temperature.

The power supplies are fully modular and four SATA connectors and two PCIe connectors. Since the psu’s meet the SFX standard they can be used in small builds. The SF600 is used by Corsair itself in the Bulldog, a compact gaming PC manufacturer demonstrated during Computex 2015. At the end of 2015 presented Corsair even a water cooling system for m-ITX systems which was also from this computer. The Bulldog itself has yet to appear.

SFX SF450 , according to Corsair readily available and the SF600 should follow soon. The suggested retail prices are 120 and $ 90, excluding tax. Converted VAT included, this amounts to approximately 132 and 99 euros.
