Creative Assembly announces free-to-play game in the Total War series to

Creative Assembly has a new spin-off announced in the Total War series of games. Total War Battles: Kingdom is set in England in the tenth century after the beginning of our era and is playable on Windows, OS X and tablets.

The game succeeds include Total War Battles: Shogun that appeared in 2012. The team that has made ‚Äč‚Äčthis game is different from working on the most important titles in the series, such as Total War: Atilla and Total War: Arena, writes Eurogamer.

Kingdom takes place in England in the tenth century after the beginning of our era and the intention is that players are going to rebuild the country including building an army and conquer territory. It is intended that the free-to-play game allows players to come back and check to pay for additional content in the game, but exactly how that works is not entirely clear. The game should come out soon, but an exact release date has not yet arrived.
