Creative Assembly reveals advent of Total War: Warhammer




The developer Creative Assembly has accidentally revealed that a new title in the Total War series is coming. The strategy game called Total War Warhammer and it is the first time that a fantasy-setting is used for the series.

A user reports on the Total War Center Forum that he has received an early The Art of Total War -book. That would have happened earlier than planned because the book would actually later in January officially go into circulation. The user on the forum posted several pictures of the leaf, from which it is clear that a new strategy game is coming. The yet unannounced Total War Warhammer is set in a fantasy-setting, as standing on one of the pages.

A release date of the game is not listed and a possible announcement date either. Creative Assembly, moreover, in 2012, already announced for publisher Sega to create different Warhammer games. At the time, it was indicated that the first game should appear in 2013, but that never happened. The Warhammer franchise is best known for the table top -game same name.

It was already known that Creative Assembly is working on titles like Total War: Atilla and Total War: Arena .
