Crucial BX100- and MX200-SSD Review – Attack on price and performance
After the introduction of the MX100-budget series solid state drives in 2014. Crucial has successfully attacked the domination of Samsung. The drives from the MX100 series not only belong to the cheapest solid state drives last summer, but they also perform another very decent.
Micron, the parent company behind Crucial, announced at CES in January, the successor of the MX100 series: the MX200 series. Moreover, the company came simultaneously with the BX100 series, which does offer a slightly lesser performance, but still must be something attractive priced.

It remains for many solid state manufacturer difficult to differentiate themselves in this market. First, it can compete on performance, but to the general public that will not be the main motive. This is not only because the performance little close together in practice, but mainly because the majority of SSD buyers will have just as much capacity for a very attractive price. And it is responding Crucial with its latest series of SSD’s in. The BX100 series must primarily attacks the budget range, while the follow-MX200 SSD the MX100 series and have to combine low prices with good performance. Is that Crucial also succeed?
