Crucial Expands MX300 series of SSD’s out

Crucial has MX300 Series 2.5 “SSDs -sata-rich models with 275GB, 525GB and 1TB storage capacity. The version with 750GB appeared last month. In late August followed m2 variants in the series.

Apart from the storage volumes have the SSDs in the MX300-line on the same specifications as the mid-June announced model with 750GB storage capacity. The 2.5 “-ssd are built around 3D NAND memory parent company Micron, the controller is the 88SS1074 Marvell and the advertised read and write speeds respectively 530MB / s and 510MB / s. These speeds would Crucial in house measured at the 1TB model.

There is support for hardware encryption using AES 256 and there are techniques designed to prevent data corruption and ensure a stable cooling. The SSDs with storage capacities of 275GB, 525GB, 750GB and 1TB have suggested the equivalent of 76, 140, 205 and 281 euros. In PriceWatch they are already at slightly lower prices. About the versions that appear with m2 2280 interface end of August, Crucial has nothing disclosed.
