On GoT are several testimonies from people who had found a crack in their screen after the purchase within a short time. This is done at the Xperia Z3, but also at the Z3 Compact. The problem is not confined to the Netherlands. In a survey of XDA-Developers have already reported more than a thousand victims. It’s not the first time that such problems play an Xperia smartphone. At the Xperia Z would also already be so. The cracks occur on the front and rear of the aircraft. Vendors appliances repair is not always under warranty.

Sony would not comment on this specific problem. “Sony Mobile does not comment on rumors or unverified research,” said spokeswoman Michelle Fresco. Sony says to submit its smartphones to quality tests to gain from this type of problem there for the release.

Dutch Additionally, with this problem report to Sony itself, instead of warranty claim with the seller. “Our customer service representatives are determined to assess each request on a case-by-case basis and determine the possible cause of the damage. This can be done through 0900-8998318 or at a local Phone House shop. ”

Legal expert Arnoud Engelfriet believes that shopping in this case must come up with strong evidence to indicate no guarantee. “Of course, a phone can always fall, but given the specific nature of the injury and the fact that it frequently occurs spontaneously, the store will have to do more than just say he may have been dropped.” The vendor must always prove that it is not a malfunction, because all Xperia Z3’s newer than six months.
