Cyanogen brings Android 6.0 to Nexus 10

Cyanogen has released a first version of CyanogenMod 13 for the Nexus 10. Thus, the owners of the tablet have an alternative way to install Android 6.0, Google has now stopped supporting.

The maker of the popular alternative Android software has the software on its download page for the Nexus 10 put. According to the data, it is a nightly, indicating that it is not yet a final version of the ROM. Probably a stable version of CyanogenMod 13 released in the near future; Cyanogen has been let out to go for a release later this month, but it is unclear whether the version for the Nexus 10 also right by sitting there.

CyanogenMod 13 is the latest version of Cyanogen ROM, based on Android 6.0, which is also the latest version of the mobile operating system. Because Google has decided not new Android versions to release get the Nexus 10 tablet owners with the release of the CyanogenMod 13 nightly able to install Android 6.0 yet. The last official release released Android 5.1.1 for the Nexus 10.

It is not the first Android 6.0 ROM appears the Nexus 10. Several developers have developed such a ROM. Cyanogen is however one of the most popular makers of alternative Android software and has a large number of supported devices.
