Dark Souls: Remastered appears on October 19 for Nintendo Switch

Bandai Namco has announced that the Switch version of Dark Souls: Remastered will be released on October 19th. The game has been postponed again, previously the publisher said that the game would be released in the summer for the Nintendo console.

The publisher mentions the publication date in a tweet . An amiibo will be available on the same date: Solar or Astora; that is a knight that occurs in Dark Souls. In April, Bandai Namco announced that the Switch version of the Dark Souls remaster was postponed until the summer , but that deadline is not met. The publisher does not issue a further explanation for this.

The game runs in a 1080p mode when played in the dock and in 720p resolution if the Switch is used separately as a handheld. The publisher promises a framerate of 30fps and the online mode is suitable for up to six players.

Dark Souls: Remastered appeared on May 25 as planned for the PlayStation 4, the Xbox One and PC. It is a graphically polished version of the game that first appeared in 2011. The remaster also contains the dlc that was released for the game.
