Darling: the Wine for OS X, Linux

Who uses Linux, sure knows Wine, a Windows emulator to run certain programs under Linux. Darling is now available with the ability to run OS X applications on Linux. Darling is still far from completion, although being worked on as the emulator over a year.

On GitHub to find all the required files to the Darling accommodate your own Linux system . A more Info page displays the progress of the development and provides assistance in the use of Darling. Darling systems to operate on 32-bit and 64-bit alike, but there could be problems when you try to launch a 32-bit OS X app on a 64-bit Linux system.

Linux users among you? Did you use for such a Wine for Mac apps? Or is it more a nice-to-have, a real benefit is not given?
