David Attenborough documentary makes for Oculus Rift





The next production of the BBC documentary maker David Attenborough, Conquest of the Skies, will be in 3d on the Oculus Rift can be shown. Namely the production company uses a setup with eight cameras to film. Documentary

The news comes from John Morris, director of the production company behind the documentary, Atlantic Productions. He told website Real Screen and added that the company’s various development kits of the Rift has to offer. Filming for Conquest of the Skies is already underway to include the island of Borneo. Morris is optimistic about the future of the Rift. “I think there are millions of going to be sold.”

The Oculus, company responsible for the rift was recently Facebook acquired converted to 1.45 billion euros. While Mark Zuckerberg and the people of Oculus are positive about the acquisition, there are dissenting voices. For example, video game developer Markus Persson recently announced that Rift support for his game Minecraft the job. “I have not invested in the Rift so things could then be taken over by Facebook,” said Persson.
