DDoS attack retrieves and NPO websites NOS offline – update

The websites of the NPO and the NIS are offline by a major DDoS attack. The NOS reports that it was going to be one of biggest attack so far. The app of the NIS can not be used. The Uitzendinggemist app still works.

Around half past ten twittered the NIS still that the interference “co” is caused by a DDoS attack, but it is unclear what is meant even more than with it. It also notes new media that this attack around the end of the afternoon began and the different apps and websites of public broadcasters around nine o’clock in the evening gave up the ghost. It is currently not clear how long the services will still be interrupted. Who is responsible for the attack is not known.

The television and teletext NPO have so far remained unaffected. In early October of this year, the NOS and NPO albeit with a DDoS attack to make that caused a disturbance on its websites and mobile applications. Yesterday experienced customers Tweak slight discomfort caused by a DDoS.

Update Sunday, 7:15: The sites and apps are available again.
