Market research firm Gartner published a new report which refers to the attackers using malicious software a new kind of Trojan horse in order to collect information and observations about working in corporate staff to blackmail and leaking company secrets.

Avivah Litan, an analyst competent fraud operations at Gartner noted that the new software named “Delilah” Delilah, and got the software on the first Trojan horse title works on the threat from within.

The software allows an attacker to take pictures and footage sensitive to the victims of the bargain, which can be used to blackmail Aldhyaya or persuade them to implement procedures that will hurt employers.

The company said that this malware reach users through many porn sites and gaming sites, the report did not explain how it used by attackers to install malicious software, and whether they use social engineering or gaps within the software.

The software works by targeting and access to the victim own webcam, so allow an attacker to shoot the victim without his consent or knowledge.

Once installed the software hidden at all enough personal information about the victim, so that an attacker could later Baldhh manipulation and blackmail him with information about his family or his place of work.

The attackers used encrypted channels of communication with the victims, such as virtual private network services, VPN and TOR, and require this software a lot of effort by the attackers in order to identify suitable victims.
