Dell Announces workstation laptop screen and associate professors with Ubuntu 14:04 as opt




Dell has announced a new Precision M3800 laptop. The notebook is also optionally available with Ubuntu 14.04 LTS. The M3800 has a Haswell processor, a K1100M Quadro GPU and a chargeable associate professor touchscreen.

The Precision M3800 laptop is 1,88kg heavy and according to Dell no thicker than 18mm. The laptop runs on a 2.3GHz quad-core Intel Core i7 processor 4712HQ the Haswell generation. The graphics are a K1100M Quadro GPU installed in the laptop, along with 2GB of GDDR5 video memory. It can be installed on up to 16GB DDR3 memory; standard, the manufacturer 8GB.
