Dell said, which is one of the largest manufacturers of personal computers worldwide, its earnings decline by 27% during the year, in the second quarter disclosure of quarterly earnings, 204 billion dollars in revenue during this period.
“Brian executioners”, financial Director of the company, said his company in such challenging conditions, remains committed to its strategy and its customers, and to try to increase the interest of customers with solutions provided by particular corporate solutions, services and software.
Experts believe that the significant decline in revenues from “Dell” is an indication of declining sales of personal computers in general because of the tendency of many users to buy tablets rather than personal computers, and other companies also suffered, notably Intel and Microsoft.
According to a recent report published by Gartner Inc. research, Dell shipped about 8.98 million PCs in the second quarter, compared with 9.35 million during the same period last year. Despite the company’s shipments declined but remains on the County arranged as the third largest manufacturer of personal computers by 12 percent of the market after HP (16.3 percent), Lenovo, which is first by 16.7 percent.
