Developer Nvizzio slide Rollercoaster Tycoon World through to next year
he release of Rollercoaster Tycoon World has been postponed until early 2016. Developer Nvizzio Creations says to take more time to process the feedback from beta testers and to ensure that the game ‘to the high expectations that are creating the previous games’ meets.
Based on the initial beta test that began on October 30, said to have the developer received so much feedback and bug reports, it was decided to frontload the release. Additionally Nvizzio affirms that the science was “not complete or definitive. In the final game, players create rides in roller coasters from the perspective of a visitor, there will be a campaign mode, an extensive economy and user-generated content.
The studio has compiled a small list of features and enhancements that it still plans to incorporate into the game. Above all there is the possibility to build roller coasters based on pre-assembled components, as it did in previous games in the franchise. In the beta, players could only build jobs with the free hand. The same applies to paths and fences; which can be later again placed on an underlying grid. In addition, the roller coaster go tests in the future provide more information to the players to make it easier to achieve certain effects with their visitors.
The second beta test where players can participate in, will also be moved. Which is now scheduled for December, but Nvizzio specifies the date further. Simultaneously with the second beta test, the developer also announced a specific release date. For now quoted at the beginning of 2016.
