Developer threatens Project Cars for Wii deletion due to low fps




A developer Slightly Mad Studios has released the Wii U version of racing game Project Cars may not look ahead. The achieved frame rate on the Wii would be too low in practice.

Developer Ian Bell reports on the forum Project Cars that they currently achieve a frame rate of 23fps at an early Wii version of the game with a 720p resolution. In the eyes of the game developer is insufficient, or it must be chosen to make the game graphic lighter.

Bell argues in his forum posting also that he hopes that Nintendo will announce new hardware at the upcoming E3 trade show in June. That seems unlikely Project Cars will still come out on the Wii U, although the game developer that has not yet been officially confirmed.

Nintendo comes next year with a new console. The Japanese manufacturer is developing the system, based on a new concept for gaming, codenamed NX, NX but details are not yet known.
