Developers bring jailbreak for Apple TV 2015

Chinese developers which operate under the name Pangu have released a jailbreak for the Apple TV from 2015. The jailbreak works only run on copies tvOS 9.0 and 9.0.1. Who has a newer version of tvOS, the jailbreak can not use.

The jailbreak, on the site of Pangu state , will make it more possible to get ssh access to the Apple TV, but no app like Cydia to download unauthorized apps by Apple. There are more restrictions: for example, according to Pangu a paid developer account necessary to do the jailbreak and install it also not as easy as many other jailbraks. The site 9to5Mac claims that it is also possible without a paid account and later promises to explain how it works.

In addition, users need an OS X machine and Xcode. Users download a zip file with the code, they have to create the app in Xcode and must signen via iOS App Signer. Users must then install the Xcode installer from the Apple TV via a wired connection. After starting the app jailbreak installs itself further.
