Developers rest Fedora Server 22 with xfs file system




The Server edition of Fedora 22 is in the next version of the standard use xfs file system. This follows the free Linux distribution from Red Hat paid his brother, known as Red Hat Enterprise Linux.

The xfs file system running on top of lvm volumes except the boot sector because it is technically impossible. The filesystem is within cloud environments more scalable and can provide access to 500TB of storage. In addition, defragmentation can be carried out, while the file system is in use.
