Jay Wilson Twitter let Wilson know that he is “the ten best years of his life spent at Blizzard. He adds that he wants to follow, namely writing his original passion. There he was doing when he started his job at Blizzard. He worked there for seven years in Diablo III until January 2013. When he was succeeded by Josh Mosqueira.

The development and release of Diablo III was not without a struggle, as fans were very critical after the game was released. Much of this criticism was aimed directly at Jay Wilson and David Brevik, the creator of the Diablo series, suggested that Diablo 3 had become a very different game than he had made ​​himself. Wilson then called him a “loser” on Facebook, and the necessary apologies were offered.
