Director T-Mobile Netherlands steps on




The Director of T-Mobile Netherlands, the German Thomas Berlemann, get off after two years. The director goes back to January 1, Germany. The provider has not yet announced who will succeed Berlemann.

The new director will “soon” named, says T-Mobile Netherlands. Berlemann has been two years in office as director of the Dutch branch of Telekom. The reasons that Berlemann leaves calls the provider that he wants in Germany to his family and has found another job. Outside T-Mobile Berlemann followed two years ago Bart Weijermars on. Two other executives got a few months later also.

T-Mobile Netherlands is currently rolling out its 4G network. In the past week the first customers had access to the network, while from next Monday, all clients access. The 4G network now runs only in some major cities and offers nationwide coverage from the end of 2015.

The announcement of the departure of Berlemann comes at the time Dutch providers are awaiting a report from ACM supervisor about possible cartel by Dutch providers, including T-Mobile. Berlemann joined T-Mobile at the time of the study at the time the NMa had already started and thus probably plays no role in that report, which this year is expected.
