Doom Eternal gets the option to invade someone else’s campaign

as Demon
Marty Stratton, who is responsible for the development of Doom Eternal at id Software, announced during QuakeCon 2018 that players in the new shooter will get the opportunity to enter someone else’s campaign as Demon.

The new option was briefly shown at the end of a long demo of the game shown during QuakeCon 2018. According to Stratton, a player can take the form of a Demon and invade the campaign of another player. Players can even form a group and jointly invade the campaign of another player.

The other player must have indicated to be open to such a raid. Whether you can indicate that you only want to be attacked by friendly players is not yet known. It is also not yet clear what skills the player gets who as a Demon enters a game. Doom Eternal appears in the spring of 2019, for Windows and the consoles.

Publisher Bethesda announced Doom Eternal just before the E3 of this year and showed the first images during the game fair. During QuakeCon, developer id Software made it clear that the game is not only playing on earth and in hell, but also at various new locations. Thus a level was shown in which the player travels to the planet Phobos.
