Dragon capsule disconnects from space station and is heading for Earth
The Dragon capsule was attached to the International Space Station, was released Sunday morning again to return to Earth. On board is about 2500 kilos of material that NASA employees are waiting.
To 10:11 hours Dutch time capsule was detached from the space station. Meanwhile, the Dragon is the way to earth to crash into the Pacific Ocean, near the Mexican part of California. Around four o’clock on Sunday afternoon Dragon is expected back on Earth.
With the return to Earth, brings Dragon with a big load of science experiments and equipment. It is, inter alia, to stem cells that were grown in the space and the need to study the restoration of bones and tissues under microgravity. The results of that study should include helping scientists understand why can not repair itself organs and bones; for example, by re-growth of a bone after it has been amputated.
