Dreams Preview – Media Molecule doing crazy weather

For the creative ones among us are the good times. One tablet is enough to make the most beautiful drawings. A camera to take pictures and video we have always in your pocket and if that is not enough, you put an action camera on your head and go do exciting things. And then there is also the creator scene with 3D printers and laser cutters. Thus modern man is stimulated on all sides to be especially creative nonetheless. It seems the highest in modern life.

Video Preview of Dreams.

On that development plays in the English Media Molecule. The studio behind LittleBigPlanet games coined a motto for this: play, create, share. It tried to encourage everyone to not only play, but also to create something and then share with others. What Media Molecule was concerned, the editor who made it to LittleBigPlanet as important as the levels that had been through it themselves to form the campaign of the game. This principle will make it much further in Dreams, the new project where the studio is working on.
Difficult concept

You may have missed it easy, but Dreams was announced at E3 this year, with a somewhat vague video of a man playing the piano. Besides the title, the short video was not much about the game. Not so strange, because Dreams is a game that is hard to tackle. The game is just as elusive as dreams at night to haunt your head. During the Paris Games Week makers still tried to create some clarity. Playing there was not, but Media Molecule had three of the four founders of the studio sent to Paris to show meaning Dreams. Represented were technical director Alex Evans, Creative Director Mark Healey and Kareem Ettouney art director, where the two first spoke and then gave the controller Ettouney. He allowed his imagination free rein.
