Driver update reveals unannounced Nvidia graphics cards

There are details published online three unannounced graphics cards from Nvidia. The names of the cards appeared in a driver update. It involves three cards in the GeForce 900M series from Nvidia, one of which falls into the GTX- or GT series.

A member of the LaptopVideo2Go Forum found references in the update for the drivers, after VideoCardz the suspected specifications completed by the video cards for laptops. The GTX 960m, GTX 950M and GeForce 940m complement the previously announced GTX 980M and GTX 970M.

The 960m and 950M would provide a GM107 Maxwell GPU while the GeForce 940m would have a GM108 onboard. It is unknown when Nvidia will announce the new video cards, but because the drivers thus already have support for these cards will probably happen soon. The latest Nvidia graphics card for laptops presented was the GTX 965m two weeks ago.
