EA sells more games for mobile phones and old console generations




Electronic Arts has achieved a significant increase in sales of mobile games in the fourth quarter of 2014. In addition, EA was able to wear his own words strikingly similar games that are designed for older consoles like the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

According to Electronic Arts were 62 percent more titles sold for the PS3 and Xbox 360 during the fourth quarter of 2014. The publisher calls this rise unexpectedly, but that would partly due to the fact that many games for older consoles are cheaper than same titles for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4.

EA also saw sales of mobile games to increase. Revenue growth would have been in the past quarter 26 percent. Especially games that use the freemium model, would do well.
