EA stops selling physical games through Origin




Electronic Arts has announced that it will stop selling physical games through its own Origin platform. As of April 4, it is no longer possible to order. Physical copies of games through Origin Before that gamers will have to go to other outlets.

Origin According to Origin, it changes nothing for most users. “On a percentage of our users who have a physical collection of games keeps, we want to know that Origin can no longer fulfill that desire.” It is unclear whether Origins parent company Electronic Arts this user counts that derive their physical copies to other outlets, and then activate it through Origin.

Of the competing platforms Steam and uPlay only sells uPlay after 4 April even physical versions of games. Steam has never done this. For all three platforms does apply to users, where possible, can buy in stores to activate the relevant digital platform. Physical copies of games
